IT Infrastructure as a Key Support in Transforming the Learning Process in Schools

Abstract

The advancement of education towards the digital learning era requires reliable information technology (IT) infrastructure to support more efficient and innovative learning processes. This study aims to analyze the role of IT infrastructure in improving the quality of education, identify emerging challenges, and propose implementable solutions. The research employs a qualitative approach based on a literature review, examining various references related to the utilization of technology in education. The findings indicate that adequate IT infrastructure can support the implementation of various learning models, such as e-learning, blended learning, and flipped classrooms. These models enhance accessibility, collaboration, and flexibility in the learning process. However, several challenges, such as budget constraints, low digital literacy among teachers and students, and insufficient training, hinder effective implementation. Proposed solutions include increasing internet access, providing adequate technological devices, conducting regular digital literacy training, and fostering collaboration between the government, private sector, and community. This study highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach to IT infrastructure development to create an inclusive, adaptive, and modern education system. With well-planned strategies, schools can establish modern learning environments that support students' success in the digital era.
