Abstract

Information technology is currently developing very quickly so if you don't keep up with current technological developments you will be left behind. Puskesmas 11 Ilir is one of the health service units on Jl. Slamet Riady No. 455, 11 Ilir, Kec. Ilir Tim. II, Palembang City. Currently, especially the pharmacy department does not have a special application for managing incoming and outgoing drug data, the current process is that the pharmacy section utilizes Microsoft Excel technology which is used to create drug reports and to manage incoming and outgoing drugs using stock cards. A process like this can cause various problems, so a special application is needed to manage incoming and outgoing drug data which can solve the problems currently being faced. The aim of creating a desktop-based drug stock application at Puskesmas 11 Ilir Palembang is to make it easier for the warehouse and service departments to manage incoming and outgoing drugs, to minimize the time needed to find out drug stock and to be able to print drug reports. The method used in making this application is using the iteration method and using a MySQL database. Thus it can be concluded that the application that has been created can help the warehouse and service departments in recording, storing, knowing stock amounts, data search processes, and can print data reports on warehouse medicines and service medicines.
